What is a Special Event?

A special event is one lasting a short period of time, usually 30 days or less. It is best described as a social gathering of persons sharing a common interest or even an event of common interest to many persons. A special event is characterized by its entertainment, educational, competitive, artistic, athletic, demonstrative, informative and festive value.

Coverage is available for over 60 eligible Special Events, including weddings, anniversaries, golf tournaments, parades, and other social gatherings.

Special Events coverage includes a limit of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $1,000,000 aggregate. Special Events policies are issued to include each day of the event.
